Abhishek Trimukhe started his career as an IPS officer of the 2007 batch of Maharashtra cadre. He was posted at various positions in Maharashtra Police, currently, he is serving as the DCP, Zone 9 Brihan, Mumbai. Recently he has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police, Maharashtra.
Recently his team is handling the case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. In his interaction with media he stated that Bandra, police have recorded the statement of 27 people so far.
He also added that Sushant’s post mortem report was received from Cooper hospital which was signed by doctors. In the report, it was mentioned that the cause of his death was asphyxia due to hanging. Sushant’s sample was collected and sent for analysis to our forensic team.
