Lin-Manuel Miranda started his career as an assistant director with popular director Thomas Kail to revise the popular Broadway musical titled In the Heights in the year 2002.
In the year 2009, he wrote dialogues and song lyrics in the Spanish language for the Broadway titled West Side Story. During these years, he created several other stage works, and in the year 2008, he was invited by popular lyricist Stephen Schwartz to contribute two new songs in the musical titled Working.
