The politician was born and brought up in a well-settled educated family in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.  He completed his early schooling from Mount Carmel School, Bhagalpur, and the Bishop’s School in Pune. After that, he enrolled himself at the Fergusson College, Pune from where he completed his graduate course in Economics.

He also completed his MBA degree from the XLRI- Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur. He also completed his post-graduate course in Economics from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Since childhood, she was inclined towards current affairs and politics and always wanted to be a motivational speaker in his career.

The motivational speaker belongs to a well-to-do Hindu family in Mumbai, India. He follows the Hindu religion and holds an Indian nationality. No information is available about his parents and other family members as he never revealed anything about her personal life in public.

Sanjay’s marital status is married. He is married to Pallavi Jha who is a homemaker. Career

The politician started his career with his employment at the Bharat Petroleum. After that, he started his website CricketNext.com which later proved to be one of the best cricket portals in India, and after its success, it was bought by the Network 18 Media group. After he joined the “Threadneedle Asset Management”, the United Kingdom and “Alliance Capital”, New York, the USA as senior Vice-President and played an important role in the core team which was responsible for setting up the private mutual fund industry in India.

He also joined the Bank of America and ANZ Gridlays Bank as a financial specialist. After that Sanjay turned himself as a mentor and coach which got popularity for his motivational talks and leadership training. He had mentored many leaders and managers along with many popular political personalities. He majorly expertise in leadership development, change management, corporate culture, business strategy, and emotional intelligence.

Apart from his financial career Sanjay also joined politics as a spokesperson for Indian National Congress, he represents the Indian National Congress party at many debate shows and panel discussions on various TV channels and other platforms. He has also become the strategic consultant for training and development in the party. He is working with INC since 2013 till he was sacked from his position by the party president Smt. Sonia Gandhi on the 14th of July 2020.

Sanjay is also a renowned author and has published many books like “The Superstar Syndrome”, “11 Triumphs”, and “Trials and Turbulence in Indian Cricket”. He also works as an executive coach and motivational speaker who wrote many popular blogs. Apart from his professional career, he is the executive director of the Indian franchise of Dale Carnegie and Associates.

His company has worked with 3000 different firms and also trained more than 310, 000 people in the last 15 years. He has link-ups with many organizations like “ICCI”, “Axis Bank”, “Microsoft”, “Oracle”, “Crompton Greaves”, and many other famous organizations as a motivational speaker and also associated with many renowned associations like “The Doon School”, “St. Xavier College”, “TEDx”, and many more institutions.

Controversies

The politician found himself in many controversies as on the 25th of April 2014 he stated that Subramanian Swamy was a CIA agent, after that he got a legal notice from Swamy who sued him for 3 crore rupees. But after the legal notice, Jha apologized for his mistake and showed his regret for any disrepute or pain caused to Dr. Swamy. Previously in the same month, he also tweeted that “Atal  Bihari Vajpayee” was the weakest prime minister of India, for which he was criticized by all the senior leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party and even his party distanced themselves from his remarks.

He also indulges in a controversy when he uploaded the photoshopped pictures of BJP leader on his twitter handle and later apologized for his mistake in November 2017. In 2019 he also tweeted some sexist remarks on the prime minister Narendra Modi stating that he has white hair, after which he had faced criticism for his tweet. Lately, in the same year he also raised questions on the ink used during the 2019 Indian general elections, he stated that the ink was removable so a voter can cast his vote for more than one time.

Recently he found himself in a controversy when he tweeted in the support of the ex-deputy chief minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot who was recently sacked from his posts from the party high command due to their internal party issues. After his tweet, he was also sacked from his roles in the party by the party’s president Smt. Sonia Gandhi for anti-party activities and breach of discipline. After his suspension from the party, Sanjay tweeted that his loyalty is towards the Congress ideology not towards any individual or family. He also added that he continues to raise his voice on the issues that are fundamental to the resurgence of my party. He also stated that the battle has just begun. After that, it is trending on social media that as all is not well in the Indian National Congress.
