Yara made her cinematic debut in the 2009 fantasy comedy film, Imagine That. Yara was cast as the child – Olivia Danielson in this Karey Kirkpatrick creation. In Phillip Noyce’s action thriller film of 2010, Salt, she appeared as Salt’s young neighbor. In Gregor Jordan’s 2010 thriller film, “Unthinkable”, she acted as Katie. Yara then made her appearance in Jim Field Smith’s comedy film, Butter. She appeared in the film as Destiny.
She then appeared in Rob Cohen’s 2012 action thriller film, Alex Cross as Janelle Cross. In the 2018 animated film, Smallfoot, she voiced the character, Brenda.
